Here's to Good Intentions

As you can tell from the title of this posting, I got just a tad behind on my blogging. I was trying to write at least every other day and here it is Monday night already (almost Tuesday since it's 11:55 p.m. as I begin writing this).

So here's the latest and greatest. Keeping with the theme of daily excursions, I finished up the week (last week) by bringing the little man to both of our workplaces. He was a hit, even though he decided to be fussy McGoo on Friday when we visited my workplace. We believe it might have something to do with his formula. So, like many parents before us we are now playing the formula game to figure out what works best for him. Kinda like the diaper game when he was first born and peeing through all his outfits on people. That was fun (not so fun for those that got a little shower surprise). :)

This weekend we just hung out around the house and enjoyed our time as a family. I got to get out of the house with Michele on Sunday to finish up Christmas shopping and we ended the weekend with a nice chili supper (courtesy of Jason). :)

Today we went to the doctor for my postpartum follow-up, only to be rescheduled 15 minutes after we arrived due to a delivery. Babies love to come when they darn well feel like it, right?

Tomorrow, we get to go through Lucas' clothes (well, alot of them are from Jordan...) and see what fits him since he's growing so quickly! Then we get to pack for our "Tour of the Midwest." We leave on Christmas Eve to visit grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins-you name it! We are really looking forward to the trip for Lucas to see relatives before he's crawling... Our only regret is that we won't get to be with all of our relatives (like Grammy and Grand Dad) for the holiday.

I've posted recent pictures of Lucas to show how much he is growing-it's quite amazing! Check out Lucas in the outfit Jeremy wore home from the hospital almost 32 years ago. "Little Jer" as my family calls Lucas-very fitting, since he does look exactly like his Daddy!

  1. He looks pretty darn thrilled to be in that home from the hospital outfit! :)

  2. Yeah, you should have seen him when we were taking the pictures. Not thrilled, more ticked off, I'd say! :)
